last week was one busy week for me cos its campus crusade week. haha. yes SM conference and FOC camp at fairy point chalet 4/5.
first up is the SM conference.i remembered a week ago today i was lugging my blue sling bag rushing out of house at 8 haha. and yes my sling bag due to its heaviness and oldness (it has been ard for VERY VERY long time those sleepover pple will know hee) it sort of detached itself AGAIN from the sling. so it dropped as i was rushing out of home and i have to LUG it and put it back again delaying a few more mins. haha. anyways i met amanda at clementi mrt since she stays so near me. i m late again so i quickly took 61 to bukit batok and that was a mistake. there were loads of pple taking mrt and i had to wait a few trains before hopping onto one. was squeezed :( i called amanda and ask her to hop on the next train reaching clementi but she hop onto the wrong one or rather maybe i called too early. so in the end half the journey we were separated by one train yes and then at raffles place she got into my train but we din meet for we were at separate ends and i had to sit cos i was LUGGIng my bag. so it was not till nearing tampines tat i walked over and finally said hi. haha. okies after that went to take 29 and guess who i met there my life VIP adora tan bong bong who bought harshbrowns for me and with her SMU peeps whom i oso made friends with :) peiqi..lujia.. and more. and oso met yong an. haha. in case you all don noe, our campus crusade SM conference is combined NTU+SMU+SIM. :) NUS is not here cos its really big and fang complained. haha. so we went to fairy chalet, met fuda on the way and we got off the wrong bus stop and walk wrong direction and finally got there really late.i realise ALOT of pple stay tampines. yong an, fuda, diana, cody, feicia, lingshan, yimin...yes half of our D COMM is staying at tampines but hope wouldnt always have meetings there it'll be too far. after we reach we played games writing on each other's paper stuck on our backs the first impression. adora wrote" my favouriest gal on earth" oh gosh duper sweet thanks adora. haha. anways after that we had lunch and interaction then started off our workshops i was in MODUlE ONE for new sms with adora, yong an, amanda, diana they all. janice and chermaine in MODULE THREE. learnt alot abt being an SM and i think the worshops are really good. there was twice of me being called. once is the SM tree i realise my tree is really "fruitful" haha. and then after that had to play and guess charadesat night. afternoon oso went to fly kite. we split into campus and then made and design own kites and then went to the sea to fly it together as a group. quite fun but got mosquito:( nvm God is here to protect us :)at night we played bridge!!! with adora, amanda, chermaine, diana...anyways fortunately adora brought cards after that slept in janice's room with a toilet inside and i realised grace was not sleeping yet. busy preparing tmr's programmes. at that moment, i suddenly felt that she's really capable. as a ST D comm ST she was really importnat as seen from the next day's talk and presentation. she did a lot and slept so late wake up early. very committed, she's really a good leader and i cant wait to learn more from her in D comm. :) anyways the next day more workshops lunch and then split into various meeting groups and then break camp. we held candles and sang songs and janice was speaking to us before breaking camp too. the point if EVERYONE!! PLS SIGN UP FOR CCA FAIR and MATRICULATION DAY! come help out!:) ok that's the end of SM conference two days one night. after that i went home to rest so happy cos mummy couldn't fetch me but God send rachel ho to fetch me home along with diana, chermaine , amanda, michelle, rachel lim.duper happy. THANKYOU GOD! for this wonderful camp, experiences workshops and friendships :)
